Corian® is the brand name for a solid surfacing material created by DuPont. More than just countertops, Corian® lends itself to imaginative uses, innovative interpretations, and enduring applications. It can be cut, routed, drilled, sculpted, bent, or worked like a fine wood. The ever-evolving color palette now extends to more than 100 colors. If you can envision it, chances are you can create it with Corian®. Corian® is stain-resistant. Because Corian® is nonporous, stains can't penetrate the surface, so it's easy to clean and maintain. Unlike natural stone, Corian® never requires sealing. We do not recommend placing a hot pot directly on Corian®. Although Corian® remains stable and undamaged in temperatures up to 212ºF (100ºC), high heat or flame will damage your surface. In most cases, this damage can be repaired. To protect your Corian® from heat damage, always use a hot pad or a trivet with rubber feet when using hot pots, or heat-generating appliances like electric skillets or electric cooking pots. Corian® is easy to clean. Soapy water or an ammonia-based cleaner is all that is necessary for day-to-day care of your Corian®. Minor scratches, burns or discoloration are also easy to repair. Major damage should be repaired by a Certified Fabricator/Installer of DuPont Corian®. Contact an Authorized Retailer of Corian® for assistance. Corian® is nonporous. Unlike natural stone, Corian® never needs sealing making it easy to live with! Corian® is a beautiful, maintenance-free surface that you're sure to enjoy for many years to come.
DuPont™ Zodiaq® quartz surfaces bring the beauty of natural quartz together with DuPont technology to create a new and exciting possibilities. Because Zodiaq® is made of 93% quartz; it combines the unusual light play and depth of quartz crystals with exceptional clarity in a broad range of radiant colors. Quartz is also one of the hardest naturally occurring materials. The Zodiaq® palette of more than 30 colors ranging from Cloud White to Space Black.
Slabs: Available in 52" (1.3m) x 118" (3m). Thicknesses: Available in 3/4" (2cm) and 1-1/8" (3cm). DuPont™ Zodiaq® quartz surfaces are nonporous and can be used in the kitchen, or wherever food is prepared. Zodiaq® can be used for walls and countertops. A wide variety of edge treatments are also possible. Due to the extreme hardness of the material, special diamond cutting tools must be used in fabrication. Zodiaq® quartz surfaces are very easy to maintain because they are durable, nonporous and chemical-resistant. They require no sealants or waxes to retain their lustrous gloss and ultra-smooth surface. Routine cleaning may be done with a damp cloth or paper towel and, if necessary, a small amount of non-bleach, nonabrasive cleanser. Zodiaq® is resistant to heat, scratching and staining. However, the use of trivets or hot pads is recommended. A cutting board should be used when slicing or chopping, especially with a serrated knife. Spills should be wiped up quickly; a nonabrasive cleaning pad and a non-bleach cleaning product may be used to remove stubborn or dried spills. A Corian® sink can be installed in a Zodiaq® countertop, for example. Each material can be inlaid into the other, either along the edges or on the surfaces, for a dramatic design statement. Just as both Zodiaq® and Corian® may be combined with other materials-such as chrome, stainless steel, glass or brass-they can also be combined with each other.

TECHNISTONE® ANOTHER ENGINEERED STONE PRODUCT
Technistone® is made using a combination of 93 % Quartz, Quartz Silica, Granite or Recycled Mirror*, combined with 7 % resin, colors and binders. This mixture is pressed into 52” X 120” sheets using a unique and proprietary vibration-vacuum-compression process. The sheets are then heat treated, cooled, ground (calibrated) and polished to a high gloss shine. Each sheet is then individually inspected under bright lighting for any flaws or possible defects. Technistone slabs are available in 52" x 120" x (3/4" or 1 1/8" thick) and in tile 3/8" X 12" x 12”, 16" x 16" or 24" x 24". 3/4" Technistone tile pavers are available by special order only. Technistone’s 20 Techni-Colors® provide you with an exceptional variety of rich colors and textures allowing you to create the perfect environment and effect in all of your residential and commercial design needs. Technistone® was developed specifically for the Kitchen and Bath industry with today’s sophisticated homeowner’s desires and needs in mind. Technistone engineered stone combines the desirable characteristics of both solid surface products such as Corian® with natural stone products such as Granite and Marble.
